On Day 2 we decided to go to our favorite beach in Del Mar. The weather was perfect and we went as the tide was going out so we found all kinds of treasures, including lots of shells, some hermit crabs, and Eden even found a starfish. We brought a picnic lunch and enjoyed the ocean for most of the day. For dinner we went to our favorite sushi restaurant. The girls got a little crazy with the chopsticks. I even got to have my favorite red bean ice cream for dessert. We also tried a black sesame ice cream, but the red bean is still my favorite :) We ended the day with a drive by the beautiful San Diego Temple.

Wish we would have known you would be in San Diego. We just moved here in December! Tell Daniel we're sorry we didn't get to see you guys and meet you and your girls. Looks like you had a fun trip! Let us know if you come this way again! :)
