Our Little Ballerina

We just signed Eden up for beginning tap and ballet. She was so excited and she asked me constantly when she was going to dance class. She loved her first class and can't wait to go back. Here is a small preview, I am sure there will be more posts about this topic in the future.

Sorry the video is sideways...windows wouldn't let me rotate it

Sage is 4 Months!

My sweet Sage turned 4 months old last week. She smiles all the time and we've even got her to giggle a few times. She likes to growl now and so we call her sagiesaurus. We have also discovered the she does not like footed pajamas. If her toes touch the end she is mad, and I mean mad! So pajamas have to be really long so her feet don't touch or they have to not have the feet in them. Only 4 months old and already so particular. We can't believe it has already been 4 months but we also can't remember what life was like before Sage was a part of the family. She makes everything more fun :)

She kind of has an Elvis smiles here...goes with her hair :)

She loves to snuggle with big sister Eden...and Eden is even sharing her "night-nights"

Halloween Round 2

For round 2 we started with a get together at Alex's house. Brayden was there too! We had hot dogs and decorated cupcakes. Then it was time to get into costumes to go trick or treating around the neighborhood. Sage was nice enough to wear her costume for a few pictures and then she was finished with it...but I will take what I can get. We went trick or treating as a group and I have to say that it was the most fun I have EVER had trick or treating. Eden was the voice for the group in saying "trick or treat" and she started adding "Happy Halloween" as we would leave a house. We walked to a lot of houses and she wanted to keep going!!! but we had enough fun for one night. I just cannot believe she walked so far. I pushed Sage in the stroller and she quickly fell asleep, but Eden was so happy to keep going from house to house. Her Daddy was so proud. She made quite a haul...the bucket was completely full! I think the candy should last until Christmas!
Don't you love the "I am appeasing Mommy" look on Sage's face? She couldn't wait to get out of her costume

The take from round 2...that is A LOT of candy

Eden enjoying an orange sucker...I had to clean out sticky sweetness from her belly button!

Halloween Round 1

Friday night was our ward's Trunk or Treat. Eden was the cutest little Tinkerbell and Sage was supposed to be a sweet little pea pod, but Sage DID NOT want to wear her costume. And she told me so, and when her Daddy came to rescue her from her mean mother she had to tell him all about it while casting me glares from that sweet little face.

Eden had the best time going from car to car to fill up her jack-o-lantern. She wasn't ready to be finished trick or treating. I do have to say that she was very polite and almost always said thank you (she does listen to her mother!) and she had so much fun sorting all her candy with her daddy when we got home. And of course the last thing she said that night, "Can we go trick or treating tomorrow?" As a matter of fact, Eden, yes you can.
Eden was dancing around the yard for me while I was taking her picture.

She is fascinated by her shadow

Look! I have candy!!!!!

My Littlest Sweetheart

Isn't Sage the cutest thing? We thought we would try out the bumbo chair and of course she had some smiles for mommy...those are my favorite...and I could just eat those cute cheeks :)

I think you call this a gurgle

Old MacDonald had a Farm...

...and on that farm he had an Eden! And that Eden got to ride a pony here and pet a bunny rabbit there, here a turkey, there donkey, everywhere some fun was had.

The weather was perfect and we had a great day on the farm. Eden got to ride the pony 3 times and it was by far her favorite activity. She also got to ride a train, swing, and pet lots of animals. Sage just had fun hangin' out with the grandparents.
Eden told Grandpa Ron that she really liked this two color horse

Here turkey, turkey, turkey

Going for a ride on the train with Daddy and Grandpa
What a cute family, especially those two little punkin's
Eden had an unfortunate accident with the pavement and hit her eye...but all was made better by a little ice cream

So much fun to enjoy the farm together
