Sage is 7 Months!!!

7 Months...I can't believe it (and did I remember to take a picture...of course not...sorry Sage!)

A few fun facts about our sweet Sage:

She like to twirl her ankles...round and round in circles over and over again

She likes to grab anything and everything...we like to call her miss grabby grabberton

She is sleeping through the night 7pm-7am ( I am super excited about this one)

She just waved bye-bye the other day

She is very chatty...she says bwah and ba ba ba and blows raspberries....all day ;)

She is getting pretty good at sitting up on her own

She took her first extended car ride (about 5 hours) and did pretty good

She has her two bottom teeth coming in

Sage Eats Peas and Eden Helps

Sage hasn't really liked solid food. She tolerates a few bites, but I think it is more to amuse us than anything. But she did like eating peas the other night...I think she ate half the jar. Eden, of course, had to get in on the action. Make sure to check out the video at the bottom. So sweet. Big sisters are the best! (and so are little sisters) ;)

The one where Eden and Sage match....again

If you haven't already figured it out...I like my girls to match. It is like dressing up dolls except these girls are way better (and cuter) than any old dolls. These outfits are courtesy of Grandma Laura. Do you notice how they even have matching pigtails and bows? I am just squealing with delight! :)

Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes - 3 Ways

Eden entertained us with this rendition of Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes last night at Family Home Evening. We sang it the normal way and then she said "Now sing it like a squeaky mouse!" and then we had to sing like a "scary bear". I hope you enjoy it...the scary bear version is my favorite ;)

Eden's Latest Antics

Eden keeps us laughing on a regular basis. Here is just a sampling of the recent funnies:

While getting ready for bed one night - "Mom, I don't like bugs. They are too spidery!" (yes, I totally agree) and then without skipping a breath she sticks out her pointer finger and says "I really want a bird to land on my finger!" Yes, that would be totally awesome.

Last night at dinner I asked Eden if she would like to have tacos. "No, tacos are too spicy. Let's go get taco bell!" I asked her what she wanted at taco bell and she made up some gobbledy- gook word for what she wanted that she couldn't pronounce. So then I told her I would make the tacos not spicy and she agreed to eat them. She ate 1.5 tacos...not bad, not bad.

One of her latest bits is pretending to be a parrot named Polly-Polly or having me or Daniel be Polly-Polly. And she asks to feed us crackers, etc. Well yesterday she decided to play with french fries from her happy meal and I was Polly-Polly. She would feed me a fry and I would exclaim "Squawk, yummy fry, squawk!" and of course she giggled. Then it was her turn to be Polly-Polly and I fed her a fry and she said "Squawk, wrong cracker! Squawk, wrong cracker!"
I about fell out of my chair laughing.

I am still constantly amazed at her imagination. It will be really fun to see what her and Sage come up with when Sage learns to talk.

Sisterly Bond

Sage adores Eden and Eden loves Sage. It was made apparent when Sage happened to notice Eden being goofy and giggled (I mean really giggled not just a little laugh) for the first time. Eden can pretty much do whatever she wants to and Sage giggles. The other day Eden was talking to Sage while I was getting Eden buckled into her car seat and of course Sage was giggling and then Sage reached out and grabbed Eden's hand. My two sweet girls holding hands....you could have knocked me over with a feather. Sorry I couldn't capture that on video, but this one is just as sweet. Enjoy!
