Sea World Day 2

Day 2 we started with the dolphins. Eden really wanted to feed them and she especially wanted to pet one. Apparently she had been thinking about it the whole trip, so she was very excited.

Daniel got to pet one too
Here is a video of Eden feeding the dolphins. She told me it was the best part of the whole trip :)

Sage liked looking at the giant aquarium and all the "shishes"

Then Eden decided that she wanted to go on this ride....with the really big drop on the end. I asked her if she was sure and she grabbed her Daddy and they went to get in line.

I caught the ride on video...I was nervous for Eden

But she looked like she had a good time. When she got off the ride I asked her if she had fun and she shook her head yes and then I asked her if she wanted to go again and she said "let me tell you a secret..." So i bent my head down and she whispered in my ear "pssst....psssst....NO!" I laughed out loud...she had fun but it scared her a little. Silly girl.

These rides are more mommy's speed

Eden really liked going on all the rides...this one was less scary then the last one

What a fun trip we had! It was right before things got really busy and the weather was perfect. We will definitely have to go again.

Sea World Day 1

We met up with some friends for a couple of fun filled days at Sea World. We had a great time except for the fact that Daniel and I both got sick. That part was not so great, but we are glad we went and Eden is already asking when we can go back. Make sure you check out the video of her sea lion impression at the very end.

The kiddos making silly faces at the start of our adventure :)

We went to the Shamu show first. At the end they had all these killer whales use their tales to splash people in the "splash zone" which is quite a large area with that many whales. Fortunately, we were on the very top :)

A fun play area for the kids...this is a view from below of Eden....

...climbing this thing...this girl has no fear

Waiting to get on the ferris wheel

Eden feeding the very hungry sea lions. She didn't even think twice about grabbing a fish and tossing it in....again, no fear....it really worries me sometimes. (not that you have to be scared of fish...but they were a little gross)
Then Eden wanted to feed the Lorikeets...she has this dream of a bird landing on her finger...

Not exactly my dream

Close enough to a finger
Sage being silly...she didn't want to ride in the stroller she wanted to walk and go on rides

Silly girls waiting for the boys to ride the "Steel Eel" - big roller coaster with a BIG drop...not for mommy ;) - Eden would have gone if she was tall enough I'm sure

This was Sage's favorite ride....you can see a glimpse of her leg

Watching a dolphin show where the dolphin's didn't really cooperate...maybe they didn't get the raise they wanted or someone wasn't dishing out the fish fast enough...still fun

Probably the only dolphin that wanted to perform
And what you've all been waiting for....Eden the Sea Lion..

Stay tuned for Day 2!

Made to Match!

The girls like to match...and I like them to match for as long as they will like it :) So when I put them in their matching nightgowns Eden said, "Take our picture!"

Do I have her trained or what? Sage like to pose too :) So here they are in their matching nightgowns...the two cutest girls ever...:)

Happy Valentines Day - only a month late :)

This year for Valentine's Day we had a family Valentine's party. We had a great dinner with delicious cookies for dessert (see below). We also made valentine's for each other and we had to write at least one thing we loved about the person we were making the valentine for. I helped the girls make their valentines. They had a great time adding loads of stickers. Eden was cute when I asked what she wanted to put in her valentines. For her daddy she said that she loved him because he let her eat ice cream. This is funny because she hardly ever eats ice cream, but I guess when she does it is always daddy that says yes :) She said she loves mommy because I give her lots of hugs and kisses...which is true :)

We had a great time opening all of our valentines and telling each other how much love we have for each other and for us as a family. It was really sweet. And then we ate loads of valentine candy, and played "Don't Eat Pete!" and ate more candy....so much candy...too much candy...you get the idea :)

For Emily

A couple of pictures of a few sweet girls :)

All About Eden

Eden is loving preschool. She has a great time. Every child at preschool gets to make a poster about themselves and then they get a day to talk to everyone about it. Do you see the pointer in Eden's hand? That was the highlight of the "All About Me" poster. She took right to it, pointing at kids when they had a question and pointing them back to their seats and telling them to sit down. A little power goes a long way. She did have a great time telling about all the pictures on her poster and she did a great job. That's my Eden, destined for greatness.

The latest Eden-ism - Food Art!

Eden was eating a hot dog for lunch recently and when I looked over at her, she was lining up the slices and I wondered what she was up to. Then she says, "Look! It's a llama!" ...and sure enough...it was. Then she says, "it needs longer legs." So she goes to get two forks out of the drawer, and there you have it....a llama.

Just looking at it makes me want to watch The Emperor's New Groove. he he he
