Fun with Grandma Nancy and Grandma Jill

We had a fun visit from Grandma Nancy and Grandma Jill.  They took the girls and Daniel to the butterfly museum ( I got sick - boo) and then after I was feeling better we made a trip to the zoo.  There was a sweet little butterfly at the museum that just didn't want to leave Eden alone.  And she was completely thrilled.  Every time we go she wants so badly for a butterfly to land on her finger and this one loved her to pieces.  She even landed on Sage - I'm not quite sure that Sage was as excited as Eden but she tolerated it well.  We were glad that Grandma and Grandma were here to have so much fun with us, and we are sorry that most of  us got sick, including Grandma Nancy.  But we still had a great time.

All About Eden

Eden got to make a poster board with pictures about her and then she got to present it at school.  Sage got to come with us to see Eden, which is her dream, to go to school with Eden.  We got there a little early and Sage got to participate in music time.  She was so sad when we had to leave.  At least she will be old enough for school next year.  Eden loves the spotlight, I included a little video clip so you can see how comfortable she is with that pointer in her hand :)

Words by Sage

The other day when I was getting Sage ready for church when she informed me that she wanted to wear a headband.  The one with "coconuts".  Huh?  She picked out the one she wanted - with dots and then proceeded to show her daddy how "cute she was" with her headband with "coconuts".  Daddy figured it out first, coconuts = polka-dots   Duh, mom!  Get there faster...:)

Random Silliness

These girls love to snuggle together and watch movies and be cute

What is sillier than a hot dog person for lunch?  Courtesy of Daddy :)

Love the hair

Ginny-cat loves to nap in strange positions - it doesn't look very comfortable does it?

And finally - what is sillier than being silly with Aunt Kaysha?  Nothing....:)

Eden's First Day of Preschool

I can't believe that next year this sweet girl will be in Kindergarten.  I'm glad I have her home more for at least one more year.  Sage was very sad that "sissy" left for school without her.  I really can't believe that she will be old enough for preschool next year.  Where does the time go?

Don't you love Eden's sparkly vest?  She picked out this outfit herself....with a little help from Grandma Peggy...Thanks Grandma Peggy!

Halloween

Aren't you proud of me?  It isn't even Thanksgiving and I am already posting Halloween pictures!  Lame, I know, but I try to celebrate my small accomplishments, so just humor me.  This year for Halloween Daniel decided that he and I need to dress up as Link and Princess Zelda from the Nintendo game, The Legend of Zelda.  And he also decided that we needed to make our own costumes, so being the nice wife that I am, I humored him.  (plus he is a really nice husband, and I should humor him once in a while, right?)  So lots of fabric, spray paint, and many late nights later....you have Link and Zelda...and also a promise from Daniel that we won't do this again next year :)  But they did turn out awesome, don't you think?  Thank goodness I didn't have to make the girls' costumes as well.  Oh, and just in case you were wondering, I'm pretty sure Sage's favorite holiday is Halloween.  I mean, she is addicted to candy (and frosting).  She would eat candy morning, noon, and night and every available moment in between if I would let her.  But since I will only let her have a piece of candy after she eats a meal, her regular eating habits have improved.  Go figure.

Meggan as Princess Zelda - I look good with a sword, right?

Daniel as Link

Trunk or treat - these sweet girls went as a witch and a princess

Then for Halloween they decided to go as Snow White and Minnie Mouse - I guess it is always good to have options.

I have been eating too many cookies....

I was buckling Eden in her car seat the other day and she said, "Mommy, do you have a baby in your tummy?"

"No."

"Are you ever going to have another baby in your tummy?"

"Uh-probably not, why do you ask?"

"Well, your tummy is getting bigger, I guess it must be from all the food."

Well, I guess. 'Cause you know how I love to eat :) Now please excuse me while I go do some sit-ups...
