I have in my possession some magic blue stones. No, I'm serious, they really are magic. We call them "Super Sibling Stones" and my girls will do ANYTHING for one. They put their dishes in the sink without being asked, they are
reverent for prayers, they clean up their toys, they do kind things for one another without any provocation from me. See, Magic! And when the girls do something kind or good they get to put of these "magic" stones in a little jelly jar, and when that jar is full we get to do a fun family activity. These stones are a raving success in our home. The first time they filled up the jar they chose miniature golfing as our activity followed by a family movie night. It was fun. Eden (not
surprisingly) is good at miniature golf, usually getting a par 2 (better than mommy and sometimes better than daddy). Sage just liked to figure out how some of the holes worked where the ball disappeared down a hole and then came out somewhere else. We all had a very good time. So I am now a firm believer in magic. And if you really want some magic stones for yourself.....they sell them at Target ;)

Family Movie night complete with snacks and
snugglie things...including
Scotty who is a member of the family, although stuffed he attends most family events and activities (He is resting on my shoulder)
