Prince's Island Park

We are staying right in downtown Calgary on the Bow River.  The river is only a hop, skip, and a jump away.  There is a nice walkway along the river and we have walked many times to Prince's Island Park.  It is a beautiful park and it even has a playground, and with an easy 10 minute walk, it makes for a great distraction during the day.

Lots of benches along the river to sit and enjoy the scenery.  This is right across the street from our condo.

Crossing the bridge to the island and looking for geese

We've even seen baby geese...these look a little bit bigger than babies, but they still are fuzzy :)

These are smaller...

...if we got to close we got hissed at

A view of downtown from the island

Eden is a great photographer

Playing at the playground

Everything is in bloom!

We found another cute playground on our way back home
